Helen has had a love for singing and performing since a very young age, where she has been involved in various school and college shows and also professional work within the performing arts.

Helen studied Performing Arts throughout school and college and furthered her training at Newcastle University where she gained a HND in Musical Theatre followed BA Hons in Drama at Sunderland University. After graduating in 2004 Helen went on to work professionally within theatre and television on various on ITV and BBC dramas. Her work also included Theatre in Education with a touring company and leading to her ongoing role of Drama Teacher for Stage Coach Theatre arts in Pontefract and Wakefield for the last 7 years.

Then in 2008 she met her partner Adrian and settled down, which lead to the set up a family home for their first daughter Ruby who was born in April 2011. Before having Ruby Helen became interested in Joining Mini Maestros so that she could get back to doing what she loved best sharing the joys of performing and combining this with her teaching and Since having ruby Helen has visited various Mother and baby groups, which is where she realised the importance of learning through music and instruments even from a young age and decided to join the Mini Maestros team.
