Dawn has always had an interest in music, learning the recorder and the clarinet as a child. She qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 2002 and has enjoyed working with young children ever since, first in a private day nursery and then in a Local Education Authority nursery.

Dawn married her husband Paul in 2004 and had her first child Holly. She joined her local Mini Maestro's class with Holly when she was 20 months old and found it a fun and educational way to spend time with her daughter and meet other parents.

When she had her second daughter Lucy in 2008 she joined Mini maestros again having had so much fun there with Holly! Dawn has now decided to put together her love of music and working with children by starting her own Mini Maestro classes in the Rothwell and Ardsley areas. She says "Taking my own children to mini maestros was an enjoyable, fun and educational musical experience, with a chance to meet other families and make new friends. I am looking forward to providing this for other children and their carer's."
